We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the knowledge and improving the success of our beekeepers, as well as educating the broader public about the importance of bees in our shared environment. We aim to provide a forum for cooperation among beekeepers and all those working to improve the welfare of bees and other pollinators.

Beginner Beekeeping Class 2025

Beginner Beekeeping Class is designed for new beekeepers and those wanting a refresher.  It will be a four-week course covering The Bee Yard and Basic Equipment, Obtaining and Installing Your Bees, Working Your Hives, Seasonal Activities, Common Problems and Solutions, and Harvesting Your Honey.

There will be 2 live classes at the Milton Community Center and 2 classes will be virtual utilizing Zoom. There will be a field visit at the completion of the course for hands on experience. Classes begin on January 23, 2025 starting at 7:00 PM for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
The cost is $25.00.
