Welcome to SABA!

 

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the knowledge and improving the success of our beekeepers, as well as educating the broader public about the importance of bees in our shared environment. We aim to provide a forum for cooperation among beekeepers and all those working to improve the welfare of bees and other pollinators.

Summer is a busy time for honey bees and beekeepers. We will not be holding meetings in July or August. The president and vice-president positions are both open for the upcoming 2 year term. If you are interested in running for either of these positions or would like to nominate someone, please email by the September meeting, 9/15/25. Our next meeting will be 9/15/25.

Jennifer Michelle, Master Naturalist, gave a wonderful presentation on 6/16/25 on the topic: What beekeepers need to know about native pollinators. Here are the resources that she discussed:

We have an incredible opportunity for you to share your passion of honey bees and beekeeping. Volunteer for a 4 hour time slot, receive free admission to the fair for the day and sell your own honey. To volunteer, click on the link volunteer
