When I was given a beehive as a gift, I didn't know where to start, so I started at a Betterbee event and as fate would have it, I met Carl. The rest is history. He took me under his wing and I spent the summer learning about the amazing honey bee, hands on experiencing everything from lighting a smoker to finding eggs. What a truly generous, knowledgeable and thoughtful man, I will miss him greatly.
