The annual SABA Spring seminar will be Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM at the HVCC TEC-SMART facility in Malta, NY. We invite all current and prospective beekeepers to hear engaging speakers, learn valuable skills and network with the enthusiastic beekeeping community. Our lectures, lunch, vendor booths and bee-cup raffle will all be in one building, on the first floor. It is easy to get to, close to exit 12 off I-87, approximately 20 minutes north of Albany, NY.

The cost of registration is $45.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members. Our walk-in price for the seminar is $65.00. Email sababees1965@gmail.com to be sure of availability if you plan to walk in. Anyone who is not an active member can sign-up or renew their membership before registering to obtain the member discount. Membership is $15/year. We will be offering a $15 Panera box lunch (including a sandwich or salad, cookie and chips) for those who select and pre-order their meal at the time of registration. Coffee, tea and water will be available at no charge for your lunch. Lunches must be pre-ordered. Attendees may also bring a bag lunch or prepare to drive a short distance to a nearby restaurant for your mid-day meal. We will have plenty of coffee, tea, water and light refreshments available when you arrive and throughout the day.
As in past years, we will conduct a "Bee-Cup" raffle as a fundraiser. Several beekeepers and vendors donated valuable and interesting items that attendees can try to win. The fundraiser helps the club bring in guest speakers for our monthly meetings, events for the club and funding for education to schools and the community.
Several beekeeping suppliers will be setting up booths where you can examine their products and pick up pre-orders. This year's vendors are listed on the SABA website.
